  • How do I know what size bracelet to order?
Use a measuring tape to measure your wrist (alternatively, you can use a piece of string to wrap around your wrist and measure the final length against a ruler). Make sure that you wrap the measuring tape around your wrist bone so that it makes contact with your skin all the way around. FOR STRETCH BRACELETS: Measure tightly and order ½ inch larger For example: If your wrist measures 6 inches, you should order size 6.5. For stretch bracelets with smaller beads (3mm), If you prefer a more snug fit, you can skip adding half an inch. FOR CLASP BRACELETS: Measure tightly and Increase your wrist measurement based on the following increments, according to how you would like the bracelet to fit: For a snug fit, add 0.5". For a comfort fit, add 0.75". For a loose fit, add 1". If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. P.S. If you are still uncertain of your size, please include your original wrist measurement in the note section, along with your fit preference (regular or snug) at checkout and we will be sure to send your perfect size.

  • What is gold-filled jewelry?
“Gold-filled” is a USA industry standard that legally requires 1/20th, or 5% pure gold by weight. It’s a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14k gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler’s brass resulting in a durable, quality real gold product. The thick outer layer of gold makes it highly durable and safe for people with allergies or sensitive skin.
  • What's the difference between gold-filled and gold plated?
A: There’s a lot more gold in gold-filled and the gold is attached in a way that’s much more durable. Also, the standards for 14k gold-fill are strictly regulated, while the standards for "gold plated" encompass a broad range of thicknesses, so you can't be sure how much gold is in the plated layer. Generally, gold-filled jewelery has about 100 times more gold than gold plated.
  • Is Gold-Filled jewelry durable? How long does it last?
After solid options, Gold-filled jewelry is certainly your best quality for gold pieces. In theory, gold fill items can last a lifetime. Indeed, some gold-fill jewelry still exists from the Victorian era (over 100 years old). In practice, actual longevity will depend on how you care for it and a variety of other factors.
  • Does gold-filled jewelry tarnish?
14k GF materials are not supposed to tarnish for a long time. It's possible for gold-fill to tarnish under certain circumstances, but it should not tarnish easily.
  • Do I have to take off gold-filled jewelry before showering?
Considering that most of our bracelets are a combination of gold-fill beads and other beads (some vintage) we reccomend taking off your jewelry before showering.
  • How do I take care of gold-filled jewelry?
The best care you can give your pieces is to clean them gently with water, mild soap, and a soft cloth (eyeglass chamois work great!) and only polish them when they really need it. It also helps to avoid exposure to lotions or wash them off your jewelry immediately. After each wear, gently remove makeup and oils from your skin by wiping with a soft cloth, like a flannel or lens cloth. If you know you've been sweaty that day or the piece might have product on it (especially sunscreen!), it would be great to give it a quick rinse in lukewarm water and dry it with a soft cloth. Also, taking your jewelry off to sleep will do a great deal to help it last longer.
